Kelly Lovell was born in Farmington, New Mexico
and first moved to Arkansas to attend the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. His love for food came during a short stint in Washington DC after college. He worked in the corporate world for 17 years in Sales and it was the perfect training to help get Count Porkula BBQ off the ground. Working fires in the pit and smoking meat was a longtime dream and today you can meet him along side his business partner Walt Todd down at The Rail Yard or in the Food Truck serving customers. |
Walt Todd is a Little Rock, Arkansas native and attended LR Catholic High School. He has been a part of a family owned business for over 25 years. He graduated from UALR with a political science degree and is LOCAL as they come. His love for food stems from grilling and smoking meats with his dad on the weekends and going out to nice dinners around the Little rock area with his mother. His experience running a local business helped brand Count Porkula to one of the BEST BBQ joints in the Central Arkansas area.
